AUCKLAND COUNCIL IQP REGISTERED
Registered Independent Qualified Persons carrying out mandatory annual inspections, fire damper interlock tests, and issuing Form 12A BWoF compliance certificates.
An empirical trade calculation to estimate the approximate thermal capacity (kW) required for residential spaces in New Zealand.
Estimated Thermal Capacity
Notice: Assumes standard 2.4m ceiling height and modern insulation. High-stud villas, expansive single glazing, or uninsulated construction require an on-site measure and formal heat loss calculation.
Trusted by homeowners, commercial facility managers, and marine vessel operators across Greater Auckland.
"Dee and the team retrofitted a 14kW ducted heat pump in our Remuera villa. The job was clean, quiet, and completed in one day. Winter heating performance is phenomenal."
Remuera, Auckland
"Emergency breakdown response at 2 AM for our commercial freezer room. They diagnosed the expansion valve fault, swapped the component, and had us down to -18°C before stock spoiled."
Mt Wellington, Auckland
"Upgraded our commercial kitchen extraction canopy to meet Clause G4 & SS9 BWoF standards. Form 12A sign-off was seamless with Auckland Council."
Ponsonby, Auckland

We supply, install, and service trusted equipment from market-leading manufacturers: Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Haier, Samsung.
We perform formal heat load calculations that account for room volume, insulation R-values, wall/roof construction, window surface area, and building orientation. Undersized units run constantly, frost up, and wear out early; oversized units short-cycle and fail to pull humidity out of the air.
Commercial plant using synthetic fluorinated or flammable refrigerants (A2L, A3, A1) must meet NZS 5149 safety standards. This requires regular leak testing, updated logbooks, and functional safety systems to stay compliant with EPA regulations and WorkSafe rules.
A back-to-back single high-wall split takes between 3 to 5 hours. That includes electrical isolation, weather-tight wall penetration sealing, nitrogen pressure testing, and pulling a deep vacuum below 500 microns.
No generic sales fluff. We measure structural access, inspect switchboard breaker capacity, map line-set runs, and provide clear itemised trade quotes completely free of charge.
