Commercial plant using synthetic fluorinated or flammable refrigerants (A2L, A3, A1) must meet NZS 5149 safety standards. This requires regular leak testing, updated logbooks, and functional safety systems to stay compliant with EPA regulations and WorkSafe rules.

A back-to-back single high-wall split takes between 3 to 5 hours. That includes electrical isolation, weather-tight wall penetration sealing, nitrogen pressure testing, and pulling a deep vacuum below 500 microns.
